Today, we humbly call upon this spirit to support someone in urgent need.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Ms. Maghoo Oomeelah is currently undergoing treatment for blood cancer at Candos Hospital, and her medical team requires regular platelet donations to support her ongoing treatment.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Platelets have a very short shelf life of only 5\u20137 days, which means she needs at least one O+ or O\u2013 donor every week.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">This appeal is not only for Hindus, but for every Mauritian\u2014Hindu, Muslim, Christian, or any faith\u2014who believes in helping a fellow human being during a difficult time.
