{"id":353,"date":"2025-05-11T16:32:27","date_gmt":"2025-05-11T12:32:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dharmictimes.mu\/?p=353"},"modified":"2025-05-11T16:34:21","modified_gmt":"2025-05-11T12:34:21","slug":"dharma-and-karma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dharmictimes.mu\/index.php\/2025\/05\/11\/dharma-and-karma\/","title":{"rendered":"Dharma and Karma"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u0950 \u0938\u0941\u092a\u094d\u0930\u092d\u093e\u0924\u0964 Om good morning.<br>On this Sunday let us get familiar with two terms we hear from any one be it Hindu or any Mauritian teachers or laymen.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">You will pay for your karma here in this world only.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How many times a day we discuss about the complexity of life created by our intelligence and wisdom and hearsays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A magical word that is used every second of the day by anyone parents and teachers or anyone commenting upon behaviour at all levels &#8216;bad fate&#8217; .this very serious important mantra uplifts the sayer to the level of pandit rishi Acharya etc well-versed in Hindu shastras even if he doesn&#8217;t know their names or their existence but it is commonly referred and quoted by anyone at any time in any circumstance \u2026<br>This is the magical term which attracts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u0927\u0930\u094d\u092e\u094b\u0902\u0930\u0915\u094d\u0937\u0924\u0940 \u0930\u0915\u094d\u0937\u093f\u0924 :<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>protect dharma, dharma will protect you. Hence dharma is the \u0930\u0915\u094d\u0937\u0915 protector also. This dharma must be the Robinhood of the day so if man protects dharma keep it safe understand it abides by it it will take the same care of this person. Another term commonly used is karma anybody with a problem misery he is told oh no worry karmas done come back to you be patient and do your dharma . Dharma and karma are two sincere friends which never forsake you. ok, so, let us together deal with dharma and karma. Karma refers to action dharma is what should be done, duty as a living being man or any living being existing and to all other living being extended to duty according to its capacity, status and to it&#8217;s comfort. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Duty<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The key word is duty, \u0915\u0930\u094d\u0924\u0935\u094d\u092f as a human To be able to fulfil this duty a human being should well understand the term &#8216;duty &#8216;responsibility. How to reach that level. One must know his purpose of life on earth.to be acquainted with is lifestyle we must know the purpose of life and know how to achieve that level. This is our prime duty; to acquire knowledge, study under a perfect knowledgeable wise guru, study those texts and other relevant shastras written by godly beings and put into practice under the guru. Then only we become wise and perfect.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dharma <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This root <strong>dharma <\/strong>is a Sanskrit word derived from the verb \u0927\u0943 \u0927\u093e\u0930\u092f\u0924\u0947 \u0907\u0924\u093f that which supports the whole existence the world with all it&#8217;s components is dharma.<br>Sanskrit is the whole world&#8217;s purified language, the very first language in fact the mother tongue of fall Hindus. It is a refined language which influenced all other languages existing now. All vedic shastras, vedas, upanishadss smritis, epics, panchatantra, Hitopadesha, etc to name only some.<br>Ok back to dharma.<br><strong>Sanatan dharma<\/strong> is the term frequently used . Sanatan means that is universal,  e.g. always speak the truth applies to all humans. Respect elders, the wise, all living beings and even those lifeless but useful things which are the regular companion of beings. <strong>Sanatan <\/strong>means Universal which applies to one and all dharma when referred to ones way of thinking, using things this is referred to as \u092e\u0924\u0964 As I personally understand it and I impose on others by any means like conversion .<br>But dharma is universal simple actions like get up early thank God and parents the creator who has created the world with all amenities to keep us happy .Dharma is duty, responsibility love for all go only after the truth which sustains.
