Knowledge grows when shared
अपूर्व: कोऽपि कोशोऽयं विद्यते तव भारति ।व्ययतो वृद्धिमायाति क्षयमायाति सञ्चयात् ॥1॥
The Treasure of Knowledge
ज्ञान बाँटने से बढ़ता है (व्ययतः) । ज्ञान इकट्ठा करके रखने से घटता है (सञ्चयात्) ।
Knowledge blooms when given, but withers when concealed.
ज्ञान बाँटने से बढ़ता है – जैसे एक दीये से दूसरा दीया जलता है ।जितना बाँटोगे, वह उतना ही गहरा और चमकदार होता जाएगा ।सिखाने में मज़ा आता है, बातचीत में नई रोशनी आती है,दिमाग में नए विचार उठते हैं, और समझ का दायरा बढ़ता है ।ज्ञान इकट्ठा करके रखने से घटता है, उसकी चमक कम होती जाती है, ठीक उसी तरह जैसे धूल चढ़ा दर्पण धुंधला हो जाता है ।संचित ज्ञान भूलों की धूल में दब जाता है, और व्यवहार में न लाने से क्षीण होता जाता है ।पैसा खर्च करने से घटता है, मगर ज्ञान एक अनोखी दौलत है,बाँटोगे तो और चमकेगा, और तब दुनिया ज्ञान के मोतियों से भर जाएगी ।
Knowledge grows when shared – like one lamp lighting another.The more you give, the deeper it shines, its brilliance only brightening with use.In teaching there is joy, in dialogue, a new dawn of light;fresh thoughts awaken in the mind, and horizons of understanding expand.But knowledge, if hoarded, wanes.Its luster fades away, like a mirror gathering dust,its clarity dimmed in neglect.
Knowledge grows when sharedUnpracticed wisdom sinks beneath the weight of forgetful dust,slowly withering in silence.Wealth declines when spent, but knowledge is a rare treasure:the more it spreads, the brighter it glows,until the world is filled with pearls of wisdom.
