Through its many community initiatives across Mauritius, HSS works to organise and empower the Hindu community by nurturing pride in Sanatana Dharma, Yoga, and Meditation as a way of life.

📚 What Is the Sangh Shiksha Varg (SSV)?

The Sangh Shiksha Varg (SSV) is an annual training camp (shivir) that combines physical, mental, and spiritual development in a secure and inspiring environment. Over eight days, participants live together under discipline and guidance, engaging in structured activities designed to foster leadership, teamwork, and devotion.

🧘‍♂️ Activities at the SSV 2025

  • Physical training: Yoga, Surya Namaskar, Indian traditional games, and command drills.
  • Intellectual development: Stories, presentations, documentaries, and discussions on Indian culture.
  • Character building: Leadership sessions, teamwork activities, and lectures on personal growth.
